Dr. Ryan Griffeth will be teaching us about the foot "core" and how it can reduce running injuries.
Here is some background on him: Dr. D. Ryan Griffeth is a practicing Chiropractor with a focus on sports, soft tissue injuries, functional assessment, and performance. He uses many different treatment methods for soft tissue along with Chiropractic adjustments to treat overuse injuries, repetitive strain injuries and help his patients to perform better in athletics and everyday life.
He is an avid runner and has been for the last 24 years. He has competed at every level from high school to college track and cross-country. He has received many awards including becoming a Steeplechase Champion in the NJCAA Track & Field Championships while attending RICKS College for his Associate degree, helped lead Utah State University (while attending to receive his BS in Exercise Science) to a BIG West Conference title and become an all-conference runner his junior year. He graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic where he also studied sports injuries and treatment. Starting at a very young age, he has been dedicated to staying active, whether it is running, mountain biking or hiking in the foothills. Due to the experiences that Dr. Griffeth has had in athletics as well as his education, he is uniquely qualified to treat and help athletes to perform at their highest level.
Timothy Williams, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS; Owner of Rock and Armour will be presenting at Running Elements!
Tim earned his B.S in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 2005 and followed with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Creighton University in 2009. After school, Tim served on Physical therapy mission trips in the Dominican Republic and Peru. Tim became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2011. He completed a one year sports physical therapy residence program with St. Luke’s-Elks in 2012 which included providing therapy to the Idaho Steelheads, Idaho Stampede, Bishop Kelly High School, and doing research at Boise State University. Tim is one of a handful of physical therapists in the state of Idaho to possess a Sports Certified Specialty certification (SCS) which he earned in 2013. Tim graduated from Laramie High School (WY) in 2001 where he was a four-time individual state champion in track and field and cross country, as well as class valedictorian. He was also a four year letter winner for the Husker track and field and cross country teams where he is still on several top 10 all-time performance lists. Tim and his wife, Laura, have two daughters. When not at work, Tim enjoys outdoor activities, oil and acrylic painting, being active in his church and spending time with his family.

Hilary is a registered and licensed dietitian, Idaho’s only Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She is also a veteran fitness instructor, personal trainer, and yoga instructor with over 20 years of experience helping people become their very best selves. Hilary is the Sports Nutritionist for the Boise State University Bronco sports teams. She is also a dietitian and trainer for many local and professional sports enthusiasts. Hilary is the nutrition coach for the Boise branch of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training runners as well as BoiseRunWalk’s marathon group. She believes a well fueled athlete always has the competitive edge and loves helping people achieve their fitness and nutrition goals.
