I have never been interested in New Years Resolutions prior to this year, but something has changed. This year, I am really looking forward to changing aspects of my life that need improvement. The new year is a perfect time to reflect, review, and resolve on the future and how the decisions we make right now will change that future.
When I created my resolutions this year, instead of creating generic and vague goals, I tried to create SMART goals. That is, Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely.
Generic Resolution: Get into better shape....!!
SMART Resolution: Train for a summer marathon (possibly Utah Valley) by following my daily training plan.
