Fleet Feet Sports Spokane is locally owned and operated by Wade and Julie Pannell. Both native to the Inland Northwest, the Pannell’s have spent their entire lives in the Rocky Mountains and relocated to Spokane, WA in 2009. Along with their two sons, Grafton and Bridger, the entire family is engaged with the running, triathlon and active lifestyle communities in Spokane.
Wade grew up a cyclist in Montana and graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Landscape Architecture. After a 15-year career in resort real estate development, Wade found himself 60 pounds overweight and dissatisfied with his fitness and level of activity. After being challenged by a friend to become more active, Wade started running and at first couldn’t complete a single mile without several breaks. After his first 5k in early 2006, the hook was set and the desire to be involved in helping people find their path to fitness began to grow. His love of running and cycling has culminated in the sport of triathlon and Wade completed Ironman Coeur D’Alene last year.
Julie was raised in Moscow, ID and grew up a gymnast. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Early Childhood Development and has spent her adult life dedicated to her children and their school communities and friends. Julie has always been committed to a fit lifestyle and in late 2010 completed her first marathon in Maui, HI. Later that year, she was surprised by an unexpected heart attack at the age of 37. As a survivor, Julie has returned to her once active lifestyle of training and is committed to using her story to inspire others to overcome physical adversity in their lives.
In April 2017, the Pannell's acquired Fleet Feet Tacoma followed by the three Fleet Feet PDX locations in the fall; officially establishing the Fleet Feet Sports Northwest brand. Fleet Feet Bonney Lake, Meridian, and Renton joined the network in spring 2018 as the Pannell's look to continue the dedication to their customers and northwest community.
Fleet Feet Sports Meridian is dedicated to supporting Meridian's running and fitness enthusiast communities by providing quality training programs, educational opportunities and the right footwear and apparel to meet your needs. In addition, it is our sincere desire to help others along the path to wellness; whether returning from illness or injury, or regaining fitness. Above all, we hope you enjoy the journey.
Megan was born in Plano, Texas and originally moved up to Boise when she was 14. She was motivated to start running when she was 25 because she met a man (now her husband) who was willing to help her learn how. Since then, she has completed four ultra-marathons, including a 52-mile trail race, and ultimately hopes to run the Hardrock 100 someday. When Megan is not at the store, she is likely spending time with family or exploring the surrounding trails. Her favorite thing about working at Fleet Feet is being able to build relationships and truly make a difference in people’s lives, whether it be introducing them to a new hobby or simply helping them move in comfort.

Brenna grew up in the Bay Area of California and went to high school in small town Washington. She came to Boise for college about 10 years ago and fell in love with the area and the people in it. She was always an athlete, but never a runner, until she decided to chase her dream of completing a triathlon. At that point, she started training for her first 5K and was brought into the running community by friends. Since that time, she has completed several 5Ks and 10Ks, two half marathons, two sprint triathlons, and one marathon. Aside from running, Brenna loves spending time with her husband and dogs, watching movies, playing ball sports, swing dancing, spending time in the water, and doing pretty much anything with friends and family. Her favorite part about working for Fleet Feet is getting to educate people and change lives by helping people be more active and comfortable.
Favorite shoe: Mizuno Wave Sky 2
